Unhappiness in relationships, according to Dr. Gary Chapman, is often due to the fact that we speak different love languages. Sometimes we don't understand our partner's requirements, or even our own. We all have a "love tank" that needs to be filled in order for us to express love to others, but there are different means by which our tank can be filled, and there are different ways that we can express love to others.
Take the quizInteresting aint it? How we all have two eyes, one nose one mouth, 4 limbs etc etc... ... as my sheep has once said and yet we are all different and unique in our own ways. Our love of languages differ too haha and I guess that may play a role whether big or small when we build friendships and relationships. I guess God added this to spice up our lives a little and make his viewing from heaven more interesting.
Words of affirmation was my love language in the past haha but I guess I have come to realise and internalize the fact that 'Words are cheap and actions are deep'. Isn't it interesting how our character traits, habits, love languages or even spiritual giftings differ with circumstances and experiences we are put through? Each of our lives is like a show and its up to us whether we end up in a happy ending or tragedy. :)
Okay time to get back to work.
