Wells... In my case its till January lol! That's the sad life of a University student! For the first time in the longest time I caught my precious long dreamed of 9 hours of sleep! For the first time in an eon I woke up with nothing to do! Actually the night before I was praying for my tutee to cancel tuition! and guess what! GOD IS FAITHFUL! Haha he really cancelled lol! It was funny when I woke up! One thought that went through my mind was that 2-3 years from now I would have to start working! OMG The horror! I seriously dun have a clue what I wanna work as. I have an inkling that I would be working with kids! Perhaps I would open up a Montessori, since I love kids to bits! :)))))

Then again I might end up in an office job, not that I actually mind. I dun have any great ambitions or what so ever, but I believe that God would be able to put me somewhere I would enjoy with my arts degree. I just want to be able to enjoy the simple things in life like taking the time to feel the breeze rushing through my fingers or just spend time being unproductive! Haha the simple comforts that we take for granted in life! Thinking of life, the issue of the recent terrorist attack in Mumbai springs up. It is so sad that the female lawyer was killed by the mindless and inhumane actions of 4 men. She was so young, she could have accomplished so much more, she didn't even get to enjoy motherhood and even the chance to say her last farewell to her family was denied. Denied without any negotiations by two shots of the gun. Tis a truly horrible way to meet your end.

It really makes me even more determined to make everyday of my life count. Live everyday of your life as if it were your last. Sometimes my actions may seem too extreme, too loud or even over enthusiastic to some, but that is my way of living my life! To give my best in whatever I possibly can! I have decided to devote my life to one institution, the Church Of God. Therefore I am serving in his church and I will try to my very best to help it advance in whatever way I can, my talents my giftings, my time. I do not serve because my leader tell me to, not because I have been so long a Christian, it has just become a habit. I serve with a clear purpose and reason in mind. To love because he first loved me.

I do worry slightly for the safetly of the team that I am going with to Mumbai. I worry that perhaps the same will happen to us. There is always that possibility, but I believe that through prayer, God will keep his people safe lol! Don't take me away GOD! I haven't even enjoyed motherhood yet! I haven't earned my first 10k yet! Who will take care of Zhangyushao LOL!!!! Yeah! Haha but then again, we should not fear! Cuz we are God's warriors! NO FEAR! For it says in Pslams 23:4 :

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

AMEN! We shall not fear, you can't accomplish much when your fear gets the better of you!

Now on to my activities for today! After waking, I watched ANTM cycle 11 until 2pm! LOL! Super Unproductive! After which... I WENT SHOPPING!!!!! Woohoo! Haven't gone in 2 weeks!!! I shopped for 3 hours! I love shopping alone!!!! Haha you should try it sometime! Its really relaxing! I think I got some exercise! Walking for 3 hours!!!!!! Woohoo never seemed easier! I lugged my haul back home with joy!!!! Tis the season to be jolly! XD One thing I dun like about shopping is that it gets very crowded on weekends! Worse still, there are couples everywhere! The guys take up so much space in the shop and they can't even buy anything! Seriously... LOL

After shopping, came family dinner. It was peaceful this time round so not too bad. We went to visit my maternal grandparents after that! It is so great to see them, not that I am very close to them, but they are family. Seeing them, I just felt a surge of fondness. It was great to see my grandma, she is so funny and thankfully I understand Hokkien so I was listening to her convo between me and my MOM! It was the usual haha family gossip! Keeps me updated yah!

The end of a very unproductive day which I accomplished so much too, a day well spent!

Come to think of it, I will be flying off for Manila soon and very soon, 8th DEC! Goodness! I went to buy a pair of berms specially. Take note ppl! Giordano is having 30% discount store wide! (Provided you buy min. 3 pieces) 20% for 2 pieces. Enjoy life folks! You never know when it might get robbed from you.

Can't wait for tomorrow, meeting my pri sch bestie and Huiying tomorrow! Life is good:)

Yayness, tomorrow is my last paper! Nowadays, I have been feeling super drowsy and sleepy. I think its really more than the afternoon syndrome alr. I think its my low blood pressure acting up again. I gotta remember to take more salt (that's what the doc advised). I am really excited thinking of what I have got lined up for me after tomorrow! All hell will break loose!!!! XD Haha ok maybe not.

Yeah! Its not good to sit all day! I am contemplating if I should jog at night or in the morn and should I get a hula hoop? Hmmmm.... Shall go Toys' R' Us one day!!! LOL XD

I have officially finished 3 papers and there's still 2 more to go! Do congratulate me on sat! Cuz I would have then been released from the evil clutches of the Final Terms! I have sorta lapsed into the holiday mood alr! Tsk tsk... Its very difficult for me to be stressed out now cuz freedom is near! I rewarded myself in an unhealthy manner! KFC for lunch yummy! Lapsed into the afternoon laze after tt, to keep awake I decided to camwhore a bit with zhangyushao!

I stared out of the window of my living room and the sky painted a unique image. It's heavy hues of blue held promise of rain that was to come, yet amongst that there were splashes of crimson orange. A very queer image it is, but I could find myself identifying myself with it.

Exams are something that would freak out any normal person, unless you have have a super high IQ and study hard to boot. You see people really cracking under the pressure, and sometimes I think to myself: "Whew, thank God I have God!" The hues of heavy blues are the stress and dread that I carry in me. However, I also have splashes of crimson in me too, the happiness which stems from within. I am of course stressed by exams, but I know that I am not doing this alone. I know my purpose is greater than passing exams and all, but the exams are merely a stepping stone.

I find myself being even more relaxed during the exam period, it may seem strange to you or you just might feel the same too. I have more time to sleep, more time to stare out of my window and just enjoy the scent of the breeze! More time to eat, more time to shop (whoops), more time to spend time with my friends. Definitely, there should be a balance, I study too, don't you worry!

To all you out there who are stressed or feel that the exams are too great a force to be reckoned with, take a step back and see the situation as it truly is. Do you believe that the exams are bigger than our God? I don't think so. Haha! We may be well prepared, moderately prepared or unprepared at all for our exams, but one constant factor which is present is GOD! And the family of God, I feel so blessed knowing that we have a community in NUS, battling the exams together! We keep each other in prayer and also help to spur one another on. I believe that The NUS community is something that we shouldn't take for granted for. There were people who had to soften the ground and sow the seeds that have blossomed today. Let's continue sowing seeds too and help to propel this family of God to greater heights! :)

This is my only break amidst this crazy hit-and-run case of exams! 4 more days to freedom! Hope I can survive them! Attempted to finish some of the cakes in my fridge! LOL XD Had a good lunch this afternoon, with bentay and the policemen! haha got more gifts! Its more blessed to give than received, but it sure feels great receiving!

Really felt very blessed today by my fellow brothers and sisters in church! Although today is not my actual birthday, but I really felt the love from the different celebrations I had with different groups of people I love and treasure in my life. I really love this family of God!

Starting to feel the heat.There is a need to stay focused with God together in this. I shall concentrate more on Econs and GEK for now. :)
