This post marks a joyful day!
Haha! Well it started from last night. Walked with Sher Li and
nettie along Orchard Road chatting about random stuffs
ahaha, was quite an interesting and funny talk that left me gasping for air in between fits of laughter. I think that having a
sense of humor ( a good one mind you) is a gift and a blessing. The joy you bring to others amidst the laughter is something not as easily invoked by other matters. I think I read once in reader's digest that
"Laughter is the best medicine". So true! I really love to laugh so please do joke with me once in a while. please let it be a good one mind you? Been hearing lots of bad jokes that made me roll my eyes to the back of my head
haha!
Went to play L4D after the walk with my CG guys and
Swee Leong and Wen
Jiang! Cool stuff. Its strangely relaxing
haha when you play the game killing stuff and all. :) yes its relaxing. Got to hear that the NS guys got a ban on LAN
haha. Oh wells I shall be careful to play in moderation. Experienced the aftermath of getting addicted once so I won't do it again. Escapism
haha! To another world devastated by an apocalypse. Hordes of zombies out for your life and you have health packs, bombs and ammo to fend yourselves against this horror. Its sure interesting
haha.
Woke up early today at 7am
cuz I have
Hopekids duty.
Haha stayed up till 2am last night preparing and completing other works so when i woke up I felt
DEAD TIRED! But thank God for the cold, woke me up a bit
haha! Its really great, the vibrancy and energy you encounter in different services. Really glad that I got the chance to experience different ministries. No comparison intended.
Hopekids is really wild abandonment in praising god!
Haha we sang

I Am Free.
LoL! We ran around on stage for the latter and had
actions for both songs. It was really refreshing and it really was fun seeing the kids praising God too! It doesn't matter what age you are or how you praise him, but when you praise together you can really see the presence of god in each and every single one of their tiny beings. Wei wen was there to enjoy the moment with me
haha!
I feel really honored when I reflect upon the knowledge that I am helping to groom my 5 kids (Bowen Stephen Josiah Michelle Nathalie) in my CG to be equipped with the Love for God and Word of God so that they might be able to use these in their daily lives. You have a lasting impact on the youths of today, they are still at the age where they can be easily moulded, all the more we should
be careful and place more importance into this work. Really pray that I would be able to get to know them even better and offer them advice when they need it

Haha we played two games for CG today and the kids are super amusing!
Haha the guys are at the age where they don't want to care about anything or listen to anything
haha! The stage of 'being irritating'. And sadly some around me haven't grown out of that stage yet
lol! Its MUST be a
GUY THING. But they do listen when you talk to them firmly so thank god.
Haha one thing I learnt about boys (small kids) from my relief teaching and interaction with kids is that you have to be firm yet not overbearing, listen when they speak so that they would do likewise for you. You have to gain their trust and make them feel that you are 'all right' ( no other better phrase that fits this).

Haha! For the girls yes yes more sensitive and blah blah blahas people usually stereotype. They share easily and are quick to trust, but you have to really make sure that this trust does not break. Because if it does,
haha you are halfway to making the relationship a goner. So
haha I guess there are both pros and cons of handling children. I find it real interesting, so I had in mind the thought of becoming a teacher
LOL! Shall think it through again...
Haha whenever I am in the presence of many kids I feel a
great joy! XD I am like smiling 90% of the time in their presence
lol! I met a super cute kid today he is called Thaddeus

rom Hopekinders and is as cute as a button. It was real fun when I carried him and ran around
lol!
Haha it is a nice picture that is painted not a scary one so get whatever horrid thought you have outta your head!!! Yups its great to be serving in the kids ministry.
Went to visit Matthew Yong's grandma later with Wei Wen and
Yili. She looks weaker and frailer than the last time I saw her. Poor grandma. Will be keeping her in prayers! :)
That concludes my day which is well spent doing meaningful things!
Yay! Time to battle the exam monsters! Hope to eat some good food soon :(((((
