lol! That's the sad life of a University student! For the first time in the longest time I caught my precious long dreamed of 9 hours of sleep! For the first time in an eon I woke up with nothing to do! Actually the night before I was
praying for my
tutee to cancel tuition! and guess what!
GOD IS FAITHFUL! Haha he really cancelled
lol! It was funny when I woke up! One thought that went through my mind was that 2-3 years from now I would have to start working!
OMG The horror! I seriously dun have a clue what I wanna work as. I have an inkling that I would be working with kids! Perhaps I would open up a Montessori, since I love kids to bits! :)))))
Then again I might end up in an office job, not that I actually mind. I dun have any great ambitions or what so ever, but I believe that God would be able to put me somewhere I would enjoy with my arts degree. I just want to be able to enjoy the simple things in life like taking the time to feel the breeze rushing through my fingers or just spend time being unproductive!
Haha the simple comforts that we take for granted in life! Thinking of life, the issue of the recent terrorist attack in
Mumbai springs up. It is so sad that the female lawyer was killed by the mindless and inhumane actions of 4 men. She was so young, she could have accomplished so much more, she didn't even get to enjoy motherhood and even the chance to say her last farewell to her family was denied. Denied without any negotiations by two shots of the gun.
Tis a truly horrible way to meet your end.
It really makes me even more determined to make everyday of my life count. Live everyday of your life as if it were your last. Sometimes my actions may seem too extreme, too loud or even over
enthusiastic to some, but that is my way of living my life! To give my best in whatever I possibly can! I have decided to devote my life to one institution, the Church Of God. Therefore I am serving in his church and I will try to my very best to help it advance in whatever way I can, my talents my
giftings, my time. I do not serve because my leader tell me to, not because I have been so long a Christian, it has just become a habit. I serve with a clear purpose and reason in mind. To love because he first loved me.
I do worry slightly for the
safetly of the team that I am going with to
Mumbai. I worry that perhaps the same will happen to us. There is always that possibility, but I believe that through prayer, God will keep his people safe
lol! Don't take me away GOD! I haven't even enjoyed motherhood yet! I haven't earned my first 10k yet! Who will take care of
Zhangyushao LOL!!!! Yeah!
Haha but then again, we should not fear!
Cuz we are God's warriors! NO FEAR! For it says in
Pslams 23:4 :
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. AMEN! We shall not fear, you can't accomplish much when your fear gets the better of you!
Now on to my activities for today! After waking, I watched
ANTM cycle 11 until 2pm!
LOL! Super Unproductive! After which... I WENT SHOPPING!!!!!
Woohoo! Haven't gone in 2 weeks!!! I shopped for 3 hours! I love shopping alone!!!!
Haha you should try it sometime! Its really relaxing! I think I got some exercise! Walking for 3 hours!!!!!!
Woohoo never seemed easier! I lugged my haul back home with joy!!!!
Tis the season to be jolly!
XD One thing I dun like about shopping is that it gets very crowded on weekends! Worse still, there are couples everywhere! The guys take up so much space in the shop and they can't even buy anything! Seriously...
LOLAfter shopping, came family dinner. It was peaceful this time round so not too bad. We went to visit my maternal grandparents after that! It is so great to see them, not that I am very close to them, but they are family. Seeing them, I just felt a surge of fondness. It was great to see my grandma, she is so funny and thankfully I understand
Hokkien so I was listening to her
convo between me and my MOM! It was the usual
haha family gossip! Keeps me updated
yah!
The end of a very unproductive day which I accomplished so much too, a day well spent!
Come to think of it, I will be flying off for Manila soon and very soon, 8
th DEC! Goodness! I went to buy a pair of berms specially. Take note
