I think I just found the new love of my life. Potatoes shoo! Cassava Chips are here. Just as I was shopping around Watsons today on a facial mask spree, I chanced upon a big of chips. It looked good so I decided to give it a try. It is simply fantastic!!!! The brand is Cassava Papa, black pepper flavour.
The best thing is , their chips contain:
No Trans Fat
No Cholesterol
No Gluten
25% less fat than potato chips
50% more fibre than potato chips.
At $1.95, it is a steal! It is a lighter taste than potato chips. You don't feel sick of it easily. It tastes something like tapioca chips and has a certain bite to it. Definitely a MUST TRY! Kat says so!
Since I am on the topic of food, I found a fantastic product at 7-eleven last night. IT IS....Anlene Milk!!! It is not the normal kind, but a concentrate. Drinking one small packet of 125ml is equivalent to 4X the calcium of regular fresh milk!!! I got the value pack of 4 packets for $3.80. Since I dun really have daily intake of milk (does ice cream count???), I decided perhaps I should really start taking care of what I eat. Not so much of the amount. but the type of foods I eat.
As I was walking home today, I looked up and saw A huge layer of cloud above me. It was so dense that no sun rays could seep through and seemed as if it was the ceiling itself. It is really amazing when you look around you and see all the great creations. the trees, the sky, the animals. I got reminded of what we sisters talked about last night.
We touched upon the topic of Atheism. I personally find it very difficult to believe that earth was the result of a 'Big Bang' or some unknown reason, and the living organisms just started growing for some reason. As used by scientists, the term Big Bang generally refers to the idea that the universe has expanded from a primordial hot and dense initial condition at some finite time in the past, and continues to expand to this day. (taken from wiki)
Think about it, if you dismantle a mechanical pencil totally and put it in an empty container and start shaking, what do you think is the possibility of the pieces falling and turning into their respective places? It sounds impossible right? What reason then do you propose for the case of the formation of the Universe? Earth is so uniquely and precisely formed that there is no possibility that it could have been birthed by the Big Bang. The earth has an axis of rotation of 23.5 degrees (talk about precision). It is was perhaps tilted at any other angle, we would be experiencing an eclipse every 2 weeks. Another result would be the extinction of life on earth caused by the erratic climate conditions. Someone must have pieced together the different conditions of the Earth for life to have been possible. The atmosphere, the protective magnetic field, natural resources and ... ... ...
So the above explains why I am not an Atheist. Why I am a Christian? You may ask. Wells, its because I have experienced and am experiencing his goodness and work in my life. His faithfulness is something you cannot find anywhere else. There is no such thing as a coincidence either! :)
